Chevrolet India and One World Futbol Project are going to kick-off a donation of 20,000 nearly indestructible One World Futbols to marginalized and underprivileged children in India on Childrenâ€™s Day, November 14. Chevrolet India and One World Futbol Project have a goal of reaching at least 2 lakh children in India by delivering and donating balls to schools and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) across the country.
With the corporate social responsibility mission of â€œDriving a Better Tomorrow,â€ Chevrolet India has made significant efforts to develop the surrounding areas and the communities that inhabit areas around their factories and offices.
The India leg of Chevrolet and One World Futbol Projectâ€™s global initiative will kick-off in Gurgaon, where the team will bring the joy of football to over 900 students at Sankalp School. This will be followed by events and activities around Chevrolet plants in Talegaon and Halol and also in Bangalore where the General Motors Technical Center is situated.
